A.D.D.I.C.T. Ministries is a prison-and-drug recovery program. This ministry is dedicated to assisting those lost in society and bound by drugs, alcohol, and other addictive behaviors that inhibit their return to loving families, jobs, and becoming useful members of society.
Problem Addressed:
Despite many proactive community treatment programs dealing with addictive behaviors, a large percentage of those treated return to drug and alcohol abuse, abandoning their families and destroying their potential to lead a productive life. Most of those who return to these addictive behaviors return to prison and to the vicious cycle of addiction.
The Solution:
A.D.D.I.C.T. Ministries provides a unique opportunity for individuals to be released from prison into a disciplined, well-structured recovery program designed to support permanent life-changes, based on the teachings of Jesus Christ and devotion to God and His Word. These individuals live in our facility, Freedom House, while they go through our program. The program consists of a stringent and disciplined curriculum, including alcohol and drug counseling, family counseling, life-skills training, one-on-one mentoring, job training/placement, physical exercise and mental/emotional restoration. Our ministry facility maintains a secure environment with trained caregivers on site 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
