A.D.D.I.C.T. Ministries

A Dedicated Disciple in Christ Today!

A.D.D.I.C.T. Ministries is a prison-and-drug recovery ministry for men, based in Overton, Texas. Our ministry serves as a discipleship, residential-life recovery program geared towards the transformation of the whole man – Body, Soul and Spirit. It is our desire to see men restored physically, mentally and spiritually, as they live safely and securely in our residential facility called Freedom House.

UPDATE: We just recently moved into a new facility! We are now located in a more spacious and conducive environment for growth and expansion. This is exciting because we have big vision for A.D.D.I.C.T. Ministries, and this new facility is a significant step in accomplishing the vision set before us. There is still much to be done in this new facility. Every day, our residents are working hard to make it a safe haven for those that will come here to be healed and restored. To learn more about how you can contribute to the growth of our ministry and new facility, visit the Give page.

Our mission statement is based on the very words of Jesus – “Therefore, Go and Make Disciples of all Nations.

This program is a minimum of 9 to 12 months of intense discipleship training, and commitment is a must. The residents will not be allowed to seek outside employment until they have successfully completed their first 9 months of the program. Our program is designed to help residents as they put the pieces of their lives back together by the grace and faithfulness of God. We seek to reestablish the plans, hopes, and dreams these men once had, and encourage them to seek God first above all things.

We are a ministry running entirely on donations from faithful contributors. We DO NOT receive Federal or State funding to support our ministry; therefore, we greatly appreciate support of any kind – whether it be financial, material donations, or volunteer work.
